Pendimo was instructed by the Co-Operative Group to dispose of a site that was surplus to requirements. Pendimo provided expert development consultancy advice to the client which included the financial viability of the scheme to ensure that best value could be achieved as the site also included a garage that had contamination issues. We provided strategic planning advice and marketed the site to regional and national residential developers who submitted offers based on securing detailed planning permission. Once offers had been received we assessed all offers and asked three parties to attend an interview to further confirm points of queries and abnormal costs. The site was sold and the value obtained was significantly higher than anticipated.
